I've lost count how many lovely people I have met when styling my weddings. There are many memorable moments as its such a happy environment to work in.
Boho, modern, elegant, vintage, eclectic styling.
Winning Best Wedding Hairstylist in the Essex Wedding Awards, Also (if I'm allowed 2!) Being asked to be part of a team for the Cannes Film Festival styling the catwalk show.
Get recommendations, there are so many suppliers out there, and not all good ones, so research before you book anyone.
I love emotional stuff, thoughtful things. Where a relative is no longer here and there is something used as a memory for the day. One bride used her grandmothers hair grips in her style as a sense of closeness! I loved that.
I usually only have communication with the bride. Booking is usually done via email sometimes chatting first on the phone. We meet at the hair trial which is always fun trying out various looks. Then we are all good to go for the wedding morning itself, turning up on time to style everybody ready for the ceremony, staying until the bride is dressed and the veil is in place.
The actual day! Seeing and helping make my bride the most gorgeous they have ever felt and looked!
I have plenty of hair advice which I expertly advise at the hair trial.
Communication is key, I 'gently' keep the morning together time wise, (It's also part of my job to get everyone ready in time for the service) But also chatting, I can see when the bride is starting to get nervous, diverting with fun conversation is always a good way to calm nerves.
Book me! ;)
