Once upon a time ... A girl called Nicola (a milk, no sugar type of girl) wanted to see what would happen if she mixed her life's passions together... Tea, hair styling and a love of the past 'Tea and Trim' was the result; a friendly company based in the heart of Sussex specialising in classic beauty. The services we offer are: luxury wedding hair, makeup and stylish hen parties. Our stylists are based in Haywards Heath and Brighton, covering East and West Sussex, Surrey and Kent. Our team host memorable hen parties and events; from pop-up photo shoots on Brighton beach to secret bohemian style tea parties with a twist. We are thrilled to have received so many thanks you' s from past clients on this tea filled journey and proud to be featured in many magazines, websites and blogs to include magazine Wedding, Red, Your Sussex Wedding and Etc and online blogs from Whimsical Wonderland Weddings to the much loved Festival Brides.

Highly recommend Tea and Trim to anyone

Nicola I can't thank you enough! Nicola done my hair and makeup for my wedding on the 18th April with the lovely Ellie. From the start Nicola was amazing with the trial (lots of great tips and advice and of course cups of tea) all the way through to the wedding day! On the wedding morning Nicola did an awesome job of my hair and makeup and made me feel nothing but relaxed and excited about the special day. As well as Ellie making my bridesmaids hair look beautiful. I would highly recommend Tea and Trim to anyone thank you so much again!!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Polaroid photos of bride and each of her bridesmaids pinned up like bunting on the morning of the wedding in the room everyone got ready in, very sweet.

How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?

I was a nervous bride myself so understand what its like to be anxious on the wedding morning. Rescue remedy is amazing I carry it in my hair and make-up kit in case someone needs it. My best advice would be to take a few moments on your own just before leaving for your ceremony. A few deep breaths in the fresh air or some alone time will be enough to keep those nerves at bay.
