Having worked for MAC Cosmetics for 2 years, I took a leap of faith and started to branch out a freelance makeup artist. I am a lover of all types of makeup and cater to all skin tones and skin types. I love making brides feel beautiful, confident and calm before they walk down the isle. I use a variety of brands in my makeup kit from MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Urban Decay, Maybelline, Laura Mercier and many many more. As I work on my own, I pride myself in delivering excellent customer service skills, good time management skills and being a friendly, talkative and knowledgeable (about makeup) person. I love meeting my brides and having a good chat to find out more about them and what they are looking for in a makeup artist, but also the final makeup look.

Zoe did my bridal makeup for my wedding a couple of weeks ago along with my 3 bridesmaids and mother of the bride. She did an absolutely fantastic job and everyone looked stunning. Zoe was able to tailor the look depending on what each bridesmaid wanted as some wanted full foundation but others wanted very little coverage. The makeup lasted all day with no touch ups required. Zoe was also a very calming person to have around on what could have been a hectic and stressful morning. I’d highly recommend Zoe for any makeup that you need. Thank you Zoe

Having a good skin routine will really ensure your makeup lasts throughout the day and will give you a flawless finish. I highly recommend speaking to a beautician about a facial package in the lead up to the big day!

How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?

As a naturally chilled person, I like this to come across on the brides big day. I think fun, laughter and probably some bubbles is the best way for a bride to feel calm.

What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?

If your makeup artist isn't staying throughout the day, get a small powder compact just to cover any shiny areas in your t-zone and don't forget to top up the lipstick!
