It all starts with an initial discussion with the couple to establish the date & venue for the wedding reception, Style and size of cake that is preferred. Then a meeting, or further email contact if the couple live in another part of the country which is often the case. Tasting and consultation if required along with continual contact with thoughts and ideas for the design of the cake.

It all started with my love of making sugar flowers! What better way to use them than to decorate a wedding cake. Matching the brides bouquet and floral arrangements. I absolutely love experimenting and creating effects in sugar to decorate cakes for weddings and all occasions, often laying awake a night with yet another brainwave! As a friend has told me on several occasions "they're not cakes, they're a work of art"

I would say My light Victoria sponge cake decorated with artisan icing, edible lace and of course finished with my handmade sugar flowers. Possibly displayed on my running water fountain cake stand.
