Working with the Bride and Groom I will design and create your wedding cake to incorporate your style, personalities and theme into the cake to ensure it compliments your wedding day perfectly. Your cake will be personalised with sugarcraft flowers to match the bride’s bouquet, lace on the bride’s dress or sugar sculpted bride and groom cake topper - these are but a few of the options available!

I had one this year where the groom asked for his bride’s dogs to be added as a highlight on the wedding cake as a surprise for the bride on the day. It was lovely seeing the photographs after, which were very poignant. Having said this every cake is special and memorable whether it is to serve a small intimate wedding or a very lavish extravagant wedding.

I love when the couples decorate the venue themselves as they always add touches that are very personal to themselves and their guests. Most memorable must be some of the gifts for the children with a recent wedding have very soft squishy ducks - they just raised a smile and were just calling out to be cuddled!

Recently the double sided cake has become more popular and this year I did one where the front was all soft and romantic with flowers and the other side was a Dalek! Another double sided cake was with the back featuring the Coliseum in Rome. Placement of the cake in the venue is extra important so that all your guests can see both sides.
