A stunning Bohomenian style wedding in a beautiful rural environment on the Cornish South Coast. I got to work with a few of my favourite colours and techniques to create a stunning cake that complimented the couple and their day beautifully.

Every wedding cake starts with a good relationship between me and the wedding couple. Sometimes this begins when we meet at a wedding fair or in our first email/messenger or FB chats. Couples are invited to a consultation and cake tasting at Craftycakehole HQ & if they live out of county we often do this part online and post cake tasting boxes to them. Lots of idea sharing takes places. Photos, pinterest boards, venue details, fabric samples etc all go into getting a good impression of what the couple have in mind. Then I sketch..... lots of sketches.... variations of size, colours, textures until we all feel confident we've fallen upon the exact idea for the couples perfect wedding cake.

I started out in the wedding industry as a coordinator and stylist with my own company in Cyprus, arranging weddings for UK couples coming to the island to get married. Now that I'm based back in Cornwall I have indulged myself and focussed on my true love ... designing and baking wedding and celebration cakes.
