Over the last 30 years, we have made approximately 8,000 wedding cakes so it is hard to pin-point only one that is our most memorable. We especially enjoy a challenge, where we have the chance to collaborate with the couple, and create a truly one-of-a-kind design.

A particular favourite of ours, is to see a handmade Bride & Groom figure of the couple on top of their wedding cake. We personally make these using photos of the couple in their wedding outfits, to recreate them on their special day.

Couples can book a consultation where they will visit our Wedding Cake Studio to view a range of our wedding cakes and to try our delicious sponges. At the consultation, Helen will talk to the couple about their wedding theme, colours and ideas for the cake, to create the perfect design for each couple.

Our angel cake is the most popular flavour by far. We have couples and other customers coming back into the shop weekly, to buy our angel cake because it is that delicious!

We are often asked to create completely bespoke designs. One of the most original was when we recreated wedding dress lace.

Our bakery has been open since 1910, so it has been passed down through four generations of the family. Helen, the current owner has been decorating cakes for 30 years. Helen was mentored by her Grandfather, but also attended college to learn her craft.
