Gardners is a family run bakery, creating custom cakes for every occasion. Delightful creations from fruit cake laced with sherry to delicious flavoured sponge cakes, all baked at our Northampton bakery. Wedding cake consultations are available to taste our delights with the manager, Amber. Visit our shop to take a look at a selection of wedding cakes or view our extensive portfolio on our website. Our angel cake is the most popular flavour by far. We have couples and other customers coming back into the shop weekly, to buy our angel cake because it is that delicious!

We are often asked to create completely bespoke designs. One of the most original was when we recreated wedding dress lace.

Our bakery has been open since 1910, so it has been passed down through four generations of the family. Helen, the current owner has been decorating cakes for 30 years. Helen was mentored by her Grandfather, but also attended college to learn her craft.
