Ginger Snap

I just wanted to send a quick note to thank you for all your hard work and putting on the most delicious wedding breakfast. It really was so good and so many guests were amazed how you could cook beef so perfectly for 164 people. Ciff and I especially appreciated how well your staff took care of us, bringing champagne and canapes to us during the photographs. We were so pleased with how everything went and enjoyed every minute. Ben - you were an absolute hero and I think you may have found quite a fan in my mother! Anyway, thanks again and hope to see you soon. I'm definitely keen to come along to one of your supper clubs when I can.

Just wanted to write a little not of thanks for all you did for our wedding. You were ever the professional through everything - putting up with what we thought were last minute changes, until what happened on the day! We cannot thank you enough for all you did that day in rescuing our wedding day and making it as perfect as it was. The food, service, drinks and attitude of yourself and all your staff would not be faulted and we so so appreciate everything you did that day. Hope business continues well, and it would be our privilege to work with you again!

Both Andrew and l want to say a huge thank you to you and the whole Gingersnap team for everything that you did to make our wedding so special and memorable. Right from the get go, you have been fantastic and you have always made us feel that nothing is too much trouble. The food was absolutely amazing on Saturday. After our tasting we were both so looking forward to our wedding meal and it was indeed a real highlight of our day. So many of our guests were raving about the food and said that it was the best wedding meal they have ever had, some of them even managed to have two desserts and were quite pleased with themselves! Your waiting staff were so helpful, polite and professional and made everything run incredibly smoothly. We are both delighted with and blown away by the service that you provided – we will be recommending you to anyone who is getting married soon and if we ever have a big party again we’d definitely be booking you guys. A huge thanks once again from us both.

Thank you very much for doing the catering on Saturday. We had the best day ever. Talk about getting a lucky break with the weather! There was great feedback for the food- especially the seafood. Please say thanks to the chefs and all the waiting staff. We’ll be recommending you!

I just wanted to thank you for everything you and the team did on Saturday in helping to make Cathie and David’s day memorable. They too, send their thanks. We had lots of comments on how you had managed to produce a meal of such quality for so many people on a tennis court! Please pass on our special thanks to Allan and your assistant for all that they did for us – it was much appreciated.

Words do not adequately convey ….. but here goes! We wanted to ask you to help with the wedding for two main reasons: 1. You are one of Scotland’s most acclaimed top caterers – and with considerable admiration we have watched proudly as you have grown from fledgling days; with your cooking ability, your organisational skills, your employee management and importantly, your business skills. 2. Your innate style and sure confidence allowed me to just KNOW that you would manage so much on my behalf, allowing me to stand back and deal with all the different elements that needed to be drawn together. Once the day arrived, so much of the responsibility was in your hands and I know this may weigh heavily, and certainly the entrance seating plan system was a spot too ambitious! I simply apologise on behalf of that team! The accolades pour in! MANY of the letters are saying that the main course was the most delicious they had EVER had. One guest was THRILLED to be given the ‘deep fried haggis balls’ he had requested and I am bored of hearing about the amazing sausages which I never set eyes on so they must have been eaten by the gannets at the doorways! I am MOST ashamed to say that I did not adequately speak to your team during the evening and especially not to Alex who remained until the end. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks for their quiet and professional efficiency to the point that they were clearly seen but not heard and just always on the spot.

Tania and her team at Ginger Snap did all the catering for our wedding. From the word go she could not have been more helpful. She came up with fantastic ideas to suit our needs, and even devised a wonderful recipe to include some rather different ingredients we wished to include. The food was utterly delicious and the presentation impeccable. The staff at Ginger Snap were professional throughout even though they know a number of guest at the wedding. Not only were the food and canapés without fault but the service provided throughout the night, and into the early hours of the morning was brilliant. From beautifully presented sweetie jars to sausage rolls to keep the dancers happy in the early hours of the morning, nothing was too much.

Tania, just back from a couple of weeks rest post the wedding. I thought I would drop you a note to thank you and your staff for a superb service on the 22nd June. The whole catering side of things went superbly and the food was greatly appreciated by all the wedding guests. You are extremely lucky to have on board such quality and dedicated staff, especially Ben and Alan and I think the shin of beef and lemon posset will go down in the annuals as amongst the best courses at a 'wedding breakfast'. Thank you again and I wish you well in the future. (I still have another two girls!)
