I originally bought this dress from a sample sale and spent 12 months thinking about how to have the alterations done. After we booked the day and chose the style of our wedding I tasked my mum to find me someone who would be able to make minor alterations to my dress. Mum found Lizzie and to say I was scared she would get it wrong was an understatement. I even called to make other arrangements an hour before I arrived. I live in Spain and leaving someone to it freaked me out!!

After being let down by a inadequate seamstress Lizzie saved my dress. I went to her just two days before my wedding. She was incredibly patient as a bride sobbed in front of her with a massive dilemma, Lizzie kept coming up with idea after idea. With less that 24hrs to go I had my final dress fitting & I couldn't have been happier with the final outcome, AMAZING. Her personality is so reassuring & calming, we booked her for the big day & she was just fantastic, a true credit to the industry!!

This was my 2nd marriage and I did not want the full, flowing gown a younger bride may prefer. At all times Elizabeth made me feel so special and understood how I wanted to look. She kept me up to date with all processes of the fabric, as it had to be sent away for pleating and the hand made jewelled sash she had made for me. Elizabeth also made my bridesmaid's dress and again totally understood our vision. The end result was 2 beautiful, elegant dresses which made us feel so special.

I absolutely loved Lizzie. Her customer service was impeccable and everybody commented at how stunning my bridesmaids dresses were. She knew exactly what I wanted and succeed in contributing to making my day perfect. I was also made up that she attended the evening and celebrated with us!

Lizzie was a joy to work with, she interpreted all my design ideas perfectly and was always so cheery! She went above and beyond in her endeavour to please; both in her efforts to find the right fabric for my sister’s Bridesmaid dress and taking on the job of making my Mam's dress just a couple of weeks before the wedding! On the morning of the wedding itself she was a joy to have around, adding to the party and again going beyond the call of duty, chopping fruit and helping me with my bouquet!

Lizzie is amazing! She took on a massive job with no hesitation when me and five bridesmaids asked for dresses made to my very specific designs! I told her my ideas for mine and the bridesmaids dresses and she drew up perfect designs, found the perfect fabrics and made them perfect down to every last detail! With so many of us we had to go in a lot but she was always happy to see us and never complained if i said i wanted anything changing! She even came on the day and put us all in our dresses!

Lizzie was so welcoming at my first appointment and was really honest with what suited my figure and what didn't. I even found a dress I could buy straight away as it fitted me perfectly. However, that was all before I found out I was expecting and would be 5 months pregnant on the day. Lizzie was completely understanding and made a whole new dress to fit around the bump. Nothing was too much trouble and even helped me out with a bridesmaid crisis too. She literally saved my wedding,

Lizzie was fabulous from start to finish. She knows exactly how much to push and encourage you, offers the perfect amount of advice and patience. She knows brides and understands that every one is different. She pulls from experience to guide you if you need a bit of help and just has a lovely way about her. Her designs are beautiful and she makes you you're very own special dress.

As someone now accustomed to London prices, I was amazed at the cost. The entire dress was less than £1000 whereas all of the “off the rack” ones in London were around £1300 plus alterations. Given I spent around 10 hours in Lizzie's shop, plus her time in actually making my dress, I feel this represents real value. Lizzie's dedication is amazing. She was still working on the dress in the days before my wedding as I changed my mind and the service was amazing from start to finish.
