I travelled from Leicester to Daventry after spotting Shop for Brides on Facebook. I won an afternoon tea for me, mum and sister! We arrived and began looking through all the beautiful dresses. Nothing was too much trouble and I think I took around 15 dresses up to the changing room! Margaret helped me into each dress and being the in house seamstress, offered advise on alterations with each dress! After trying each dress on, we enjoyed the amazing afternoon tea and was given time to discuss all the dresses. I tried on my fave 4 and managed to decide on my dream dress! I went back at a later date to purchase my veil and tiara and was able to try my dress on with them too! Margaret made all the alterations for me, nothing was too much trouble. This was my 3rd and final dress shop and by far the best experience I had! I even took my oldest friend a couple of months later who also purchased her dream dress! I would recommend to every bride near or far - you won’t be disappointed x

I stopped in just to have a look at what they’d got. It was a quiet weekday morning (November 2018) and I decided to try some dresses on, being a plus sized bride-to-Be I was nervous to begin with, but was very quickly put at ease and tried an array of different styles on. What was meant to be a quick look round, ended up with me choosing my dress. The fact that they can store my dress for as long as I need them too (we get married August 2020), have an in-house seamstress and offer interest free instalments, made this even easier to decide. I highly recommend Shop for Brides and can assure you, you won’t be disappointed.

I first found Shop for Brides during a search on Facebook. Whilst it wasn’t in my immediate area, I kept an eye on the page as some of the dresses were stunning. I won an appointment with afternoon tea! Upon arriving at the shop, we were immediately made to feel so welcome. After a brief chat around budget and style, we had a browse through the rails and picked out sooo many! Margaret then helped me into around 12 different dresses - I can’t believe I was allowed that many, nothing was too much trouble! Moyà was so knowledgable with regards to style and what suits etc which was really helpful and led me to my perfect dress. Margaret is also their seamstress which helped so much as to advise on what could/couldn’t be changed on a dress!! I would recommend this shop to EVERY bride, you certainly won’t be disappointed! In fact, I went along with a friend recently and she also found her perfect dress! 100% best bridal shop!!
