When arranging a ceilidh or barn dance, I strongly recommend that you use the FAQ's on my website and feel free to ask me lots of questions (you cannot be a nuisance, I assure you!)

Describe your typical process with a couple.
I ask questions about what style of Ceilidh or barn dance band they might prefer, and do my best to offer the most suitable band for their occasion. I ask a fair number of general questions - e.g. about the venue and room in which the dance will take place, and how many people will be attending, and I do my best to answer all the queries a couple may have about putting on a ceilidh as part of their Big Day
What is your No.1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained?
Keep it simple! The Caller with the band should keep the dances simple and make the calling of the steps clear so as not to intimidate anyone or put someone off joining in.
