Jayne took our wish for colourful flowers at our winter wedding and delivered the most fantastic designs. She came to the venue with us, suggested options to suit our budget and designed a creative statement piece that could be used in the church and at the reception venue. The flowers were all stunning and it's a part of the wedding our friends still comment on today. I couldn't recommend working with Jayne highly enough.

What about your business are you most proud of?

We are a small, super-friendly company with many years of wedding industry experience. As co-founders, excellent service is incredibly important to us and we personally handle each enquiry and work with our couples from the beginning right through the the big day. We are proud of the rapport with have with our couples.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Stay true to yourselves and your choices

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We offer a complimentary, informal consultation for couples to meet us and discuss their wedding plans. A bespoke design proposal will be drawn up based on the details of the wedding for the couple to consider. Once the designs have been finalised, a deposit is paid and the date is secured in our diary.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

We made a beautiful bridal bouquet with jewellery with each small piece being given by a different friend of the couple - it was stunning!

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

There are many flowers that can carry sentimental meanings. We offer a free flower guide which tells you all about flower meanings; email us for your copy hello@birdevents.co.uk

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

After the wedding, we usually arrange for flowers to be donated to a charity who make bouquets for care homes & local community projects. Alternatively, should you wish to take any flowers home with you to keep in your home we can provide flower bags for you.
