The most memorable wedding was a couple that had nothing prepared or ready 3 weeks prior other than the venue and invites. It reminded me of "Don't tell the bride" it was go, go, go. The couple had a fantastic day we supplied flowers, decorated the venue and hair. I couldn't believe how soon it came together, it was literally all hands on deck but trying not to loose the attention to detail.
Graceful, Elegant, Polished, Artistic & Classic
I am most proud of the personalisation, getting to know clients and their requirements. It is an incredible feeling when you look at the production turning an idea into reality.
My number one tip would be to remember the day is about you and not the wedding party/guests. Do what makes you happy.
It would be a whole theme actually, a steam punk wedding. It was exactly what the couple wanted and all the guests took part in dressing up and having fun. They loved trance music too so as the night went on instead of having their first dance they danced together to their favourite tracks.
I like to meet with couples personally to get an idea of their tastes and styles, looking for favourite flowers, themes, allergies. Then deal with the bride one to one to ensure the bouquet matches the shape of the dress. Then suggest flowers to suit the couple, I like to make mini bouquets full of different textures to show the options available or example images as it can be quite hard to imagine the final image.
As simple as it is, probably a feather. Due to the feather coming from a couples bird.
I would recommend a red tulip as this is traditionally believed to mean declaration of love.
The rose - as it has multiple meanings through its colours. Regardless of where you are in a relationship it can be highly romantic. Pink - admiration/appreciation Red - passionate love Red & White - unity White - purity Yellow - friendship
Flowers unfortunately have their life span cut short when they are removed from their roots, and deprived of water. Traditionally the bouquet can be tossed, table centre pieces given as gifts, or placed in a loved ones place of memory.
