What is your most memorable wedding?
At Rousham House when we created a 30metre long hanging floral installation for a large Indian wedding. It looked stunning!

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
If you love a particular flower (and peonies are usually at the top of the list), be sure to check when it's in season before you book your date.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A gallery of family wedding photographs - grandparents, parents, siblings - attached to a pretty trellis. We tied flowers in amongst the pictures and the whole thing looked gorgeous.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After the initial consultation, at which we discuss in details plans and ideas for the big day, an inspiring floral design plan is created. This is submitted to the bride and groom for their consideration with tweaks and changes made until they are 100% happy. On booking a 15% deposit is paid with the balance due six weeks before the wedding day.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
Small wild green apples found in a local hedgerow.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Just follow your heart and choose what you love.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
Definitely a scented garden rose.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
You could give them to your guests or leave then behind so that we can take them to a local hospice or care home.
