its your day not theirs - i have had plenty of brides and grooms who have been a complete mess due to family members trying to control their day. The day belongs to the bride and groom, bride and bride or groom and groom, either way your day is your day.
I had organised a wedding where the ceremony was being held outside and then after they would move to a clear span marquee. Unfortunately 30 mins before the bride would arrive, the heavens opened. So my solution was to create 1/4 of the marquee into a ceremony area, bring the outside in.
I am a huge fan of orchids and believe these symbolise romance and class.
