I've had the pleasure of floralling some amazing weddings so it's hard to choose but my best friends wedding when I was a bridesmaid as well was a pretty special one.

Getting bookings from couples who've been recommended to me by previous couples I've worked with.
Book your florist in good time! I'm regularly booked 12-18 months in advance, especially for popular summer dates.
I've seen so many unique and personal ideas; it's always special to see how loved ones are included even if they can't be there in person - a photo locket tied onto the bouquet is one of my favourite ways to have them with you on the day
After an initial contact via email we'd arrange a consultation in person to discuss the details of the wedding, ideas for flowers and suggestions for styling and decor, then after confirming the booking I'd often make or follow a pinterest board. We'd finalise the flower order around 8 weeks before the date.
I love including ingredients which are bit bit different from your average wedding flowers - succulents, seedpods, berries or feathers.
A rose is the symbol of love and comes in a huge ranges of colours and shapes so can work with any colour scheme or style.
Roses are the quintessential wedding flower and a favourite flower with many couples but I also love the delicate and fragrant sweet pea.
Bouquets can be dried or preserved as a keepsake, there are various companies which dry and frame your flowers, or you can DIY by hanging in a warm, dry space such as an airing cupboard. You can also give the fresh flowers such as table centres as gifts to your guests or even donate to a local nursing home or hospice to bring a smile to the residents.
