I provided wedding flowers for a client who literally left it all up to me, the colour scheme, flower choices, arrangements, everything. I think I managed to pull it off - and tried to reflect the couple's relationship in the flowers. Plenty of colour, with mixed textures and a distinct country vibe. This was helpful as the whole wedding was on a farm!
Natural, fresh, modern, country, colourful
The fact that I have repeat customers who love our style - and come back again for more flowers!
Take it easy and enjoy the planning as much as you can - its all about you.
A bride asked me to attach a tiffany pendant that belonged to her great grandmother to her wedding bouquet. It was something old and blue, and she was going to pass it down to her children when they eventually got married.
A very informal chat about everything floral that they like and don't like. A good chat about the vibe of the wedding, and if they have any ideas about the wedding. I always encourage this in the shop as we have an abundance of flowers and create some sample and designs. I then provide a detailed quotation for the couple, and we take it from there!
Lemons!
Not a specific flower, as all couples have different lives. I would also suggest to have something that means something to them. A recent bride and groom got engaged whilst on holiday in Singapore, so we have decided to incorporate some individual heads of Orchids into their flowers to add a personal touch.
Norma Jean Roses, the scent is the prettiest, most feminine scent. It works in every wedding in my opinion.
Its up to you! You could donate your tablecentres to guests so they have some extra memories from the day, or you could donate them to a hospice or nursing home. There are some brilliant flower preserving companies now!
