Consider who will be setting up your decor details in the time slots given by your venue. Usually in the morning while your getting ready and in the turn around of rooms while you are with your guests. You want to be relaxed enjoying your day knowing this is all in hand.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Well written name places. People love to keep their name cards, take pictures of them etc. A lovely welcome for your guests to the table brings great chat about how beautiful your day is.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I usually meet for a free consultation to chat about how best I can help you, whether it's complete styling, prop hire or on the day styling. If complete styling suits we would make an appointment for a brainstorm of inspiration to pin point your style. If hiring and on the day styling works best I would then quote you for those items and you can opt for as much or as little as you like. I will always be in touch leading up to the big day to check all plans are perfect.
What is the best themed wedding you have worked at?
My favourite has been a neutral pallet of soft of pinks mixed with gold sequins. A real mix of romantic and classy with a touch of glamour.
What are the decorative trends with brides currently?
My brides are still loving rose gold. It is really stunning and neutral to work with most venues. I have seen a lot of fresh green weddings this year mixed with fresh foliage. Simple and elegant. Bringing the outdoors in.
What is your signature finishing touch?
I love a beautiful welcome sign and handwritten name place cards.
What decoration do you think every wedding needs?
I love lanterns, they work in every setting and really bring a relaxed atmosphere.
