Welcome to Rachel's Country Weddings. You will find me working from my Flower Studio in Staffordshire or from my Flower Bothy in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. I very much enjoy creating rustic and bespoke floral arrangements for all occasions, but my true passion is definitely with wedding florals. My main style is natural and relaxed and I love to incorporate an abundance of wildflowers and foliage into my work. I am constantly looking at ways to make my business as environmentally friendly as possible and my aim is to eliminate all single use plastics from my bouquets and displays.

What is your most memorable wedding?

Gosh, this is a really tricky question as I get so involved with all of my weddings.....but I do love a challenge and excel at creating bespoke weddings so I am going to say my Disney Wedding as each table was a different Disney film. From Cinderella to Beauty and the Beast to Frozen!!!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Secret memories of loved ones

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Lots of communication throughout, by face to face, email, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp etc Getting to know each couple, delivery and set up and making sure that you have as smooth an experience as possible.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

Lego Men

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

I often get asked for Eryngium in Scotland in memory of loved ones. Lilies are requested too. I was once asked for a pretty rose called "Labelle" as this was the first flower that was given to my bride by her husband when they first me.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

All flowers are romantic!

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Some people give them away to family and friends, some have them dried and made into a picture other placed them on a grave
