What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
When styling the venue, focus on the areas that are in all key wedding photos and don't stretch yourselves too thinly by dressing areas where your guests walk past once and instantly forget.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Bride and groom's initials made with flowers, on the floor, in front of the top table.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We would normally meet you to see what type of things you like, the style of the wedding and teh overall mood you want to create. Then we would build on this and develop a detailed plan, offering you lots of practical advice on how to best dress the venue and pull together a cohesive beautiful look.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
Lots of clear gems and vintage brooches, in amongst lovely fresh flowers. The effect was very wintry and sparkly.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Cherry blossom which symbolises new beginnings and new romance.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
Peonies are my favourites for the blousy multi-layered blooms and unforgettable scent.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Give as many of the table centrepieces etc to friends and family to enjoy after the wedding and dry the bridal bouquet at home or have it professionally preserved.
