What is your most memorable wedding?
Last year we did a wedding with all foliage, mostly tropical. And copper bare grass and just two flowers in the whole wedding which were two pink king protea. This was the first wedding we did a moongate arch for and also 3ft white balloons. The bride had such fab ideas and was really involved with the process but also open to ideas and experimenting.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't try to take too much on yourself, try to leave time to enjoy the days before your big day
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Including flowers brudes mother or grandmother had in her bouquet is a lovely personal touch
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Typically we exchange email ideas and get basic info regarding date and venue, we send a price guide by email and then we arrange a no obligation consultation. A deposit is then required to book your day with us. We typically then meet or get in touch by email again 3 or 4 months before to go over everything and finalised quantities etc. Every couple is different though and sometimes we communicate purely by email, sometimes we do venue visits with the couple. It depends entirely on your needs
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
A bride called poppy had dried poppy heads as poppies were not in season. They looked fab
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
There's a lot of symbolism with flowers but generally speaking going for something at it's seasonal best in the perfect colours for your wedding is more of a focus. Things like lavender and thistles are popular requests for good luck or Scottish links.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
David Austin roses... they're a luxury garden variety similar in appearance to a peony with a stunning scent. Roses symbolise love and these roses are soft delicate and beautiful, perfect for a wedding
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Some brides like to preserve their bouquet through drying or pressing, some give flowers away as gifts, we also encourage couples who don't really want their flowers afterwards (if they're straight off on honeymoon) to donate them to a local hospice as the patients get great joy from arranging the flowers and enjoying them for a few days after your big day
