Black Tie's founder, Chris Healy, joined Gieves of No.1 Savile Row in the 60's and after the merger which resulted in the most famous name in bespoke tailoring in the world - Gieves & Hawkes - Chris would eventually become front of house manager of the military tailoring arm of the company, before leaving for new pastures with another world famous military tailors in Conway Williams of Mayfair. This incredible pedigree helped to eventually shape Black Tie into the South East's leading formal menswear hire specialist, catering for over 500 wedding parties each year and famous for our beautiful Personal Tailoring Lounge, home of our award-winning traditional tailoring services and Savile Row style experiences.
