What a great business Jess and Tom have! When myself and my partner decided to have a 1920’s themed wedding I went straight onto Google and found this wonderful company The Vintage Suit Hire Company. From the first to the last email you guys were so helpful. We made the trip up from Bournemouth to try the suits on and when we arrived we were greeted with a beer and straight away I knew this was the company for me to supply the wedding suits! The suits arrived and all fitted perfectly and were of a high quality. We had so many comments on how amazing the suits looked and everyone was asking where we got them from. So anyone looking to hire a suit for a vintage style event this company is a must!! I really can’t praise them enough! So… to Jess and Tom THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

For my suit I wanted a modern twist on a vintage styled three piece tweed number and searched all the high street shops and some internet sites looking for the right one but couldn’t find what I was looking for. Then I came across another local company called Vintage Suit hire in Bedford which is run by a delightful couple called Jess and Tom. They had just what I was looking for. Beautiful three piece tweed suits designed by themselves in a choice of 3 colours: brown, grey and blue. After much deliberation I decided on the blue for myself and the grey for my groomsmen and both fathers. I’ve always had trouble with suits because of my body shape but this wasn’t a problem, Jess took all of my measurements and I had a custom one made to measure which fit perfectly. The Blue is set off amazingly with tan coloured buttons on the jacket and waistcoat. I paired the suit with a stunning tan leather Ted Baker belt and John Lewis tan leather brogues. For our pageboy we opted for a similar grey tweed suit which we sourced from Roco Clothing which was a great fit. To match the bridesmaids my groomsmen, fathers, pageboy and I wore either mint green or dusky pink ties and pocket squares which set the suits off nicely. All sourced from Swagger and Swoon. Another great touch supplied by Jess and Tom were their accessories I picked up 2 lapel pins one of a feather and the other of a stags head for myself, then I chose a stunning pocket watch for each of my groomsmen which Jess got engraved for me with messages to each of them for me to give them on the day as a gift.

Well what can I say… once I tried on the Southwold suit, I knew it was the suit for me. As I wear a suit every day to work, I was sure that I needed something different for my wedding day. From the first and only meeting in Manchester, up until I received the suits, the customer service from Jessica was second to none. Even when I told her that I lost some weight and needed smaller trousers and waistcoat I had them the very next day. Overall we were very happy with the suits and they really set us apart from your every day wedding suit. The compliments we received about the quality and how smart they looked was great. Outstanding! I rented my suit, but I’ve a feeling I may be buying one very soon. Thanks so much Jess and Tom.

I couldn’t recommend the Vintage Suit Hire Company enough! We first met Jess and Tom at a wedding fair when I had pointed out my future wedding suit (the Southwold) to my now wife. Our wedding was very quirky and non-traditional and the suits on offer definitely fit within that, both the style and feel made them stand out above all others I had looked at and I never looked back. Jess was very helpful, friendly and flexible throughout the process from the fitting to delivery, very prompt with responses to emails/phone calls and took the time to make sure everything was exactly what I was looking for and fit the style of the day. The suit itself was absolutely perfect, my only regret is that i didn’t buy it outright!

Choose these guys for your tweed wedding suits! They were exactly what we wanted – and all done by post. So easy! All measurements are sent by email, the suits arrived on the Wednesday before the wedding. They fitted beautifully. The quality of the suit was exceptional – they were in pristine condition. And then you just send them back in the box they came in on the following Monday. Incredibly straightforward. From the start I was so grateful for their generous and big hearted approach to their business plus every following interaction I had with Jess was professional and helpful. All in all, Vintage Suit Hire was the best choice for my daughter’s wedding, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to you

I can’t recommend Vintage Suit Hire enough!! I hired 3 suits and bought mine for my wedding at the end of September after finding Vintage Suit Hire online! Jess was so accommodating and friendly and the process was so easy from start to finish. The groomsman and I were measured at the shop and the suits were delivered in perfect condition by a courier a few days before the big day. The suits were then collected on the Monday, again by courier and in the same box that they were delivered in. It was so simple and a straight forward guide of how they were going to be collected was provided as well! If you are looking for a tweed/vintage suit then Vintage Suit Hire is perfect and I can’t recommend them enough!

Vintage Suit Hire are something special. Tom and Jess’s suits are like nothing else out there having spent some time looking for the right suit for our vintage wedding. The quality, fit and look is top class and the accessories they offer are a perfect compliment. The customer service from Tom and Jess is excellent and I can only echo what other reviewers have said. We got so many comments about how fantastic and dapper the suits were at the wedding and my groomsmen loved them along with the father of the bride who said it was the best fitting suit he had ever worn!
