Plan in advance, and don't forget the entertainment - its one of the main things (apart from you, the happy couple!) guests will remember about your day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There's too many to think of! Every couple I have sang for have had amazing ideas to suit their own style and personality.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After the initial enquiry, couples often have a browse of my repertoire and a listen to my audio/watch my videos online. If they are local, we sometimes meet, if further afield we have a chat about their preferences on the phone.
Once the couple are sure they want to book they pay a booking fee to secure the date, they will then give me venue and rough arrival time estimate. Then, at an appropriate time - either on booking or 2-3 months before the wedding, the couple will send me their song choices or agree on a suggested set list with me. 1 month before the wedding - or whenever they have met and conformed with the venue - the couple will confirm timings and pay the remaining balance.
On the day, I arrive in plenty of time to set up and give them entertainment that all their guests (and most importantly they) will love!
