I would highly recommend DJ Karlton to anyone who is having a wedding, I went to a good friends wedding this weekend where DJ Karlton has played, the atmosphere with the music was brilliant all different songs and the dance floor was full everybody was up on there feet. Everyone had an amazing time it was a shame it had to end.

Danced our feet off!

We didn’t have very long to organise our wedding. My partner has terminal brain cancer and following his third operation in three years earlier this year we finally decided to tie the knot before his health detoriated. We had a wonderful low key event in August and the music Karlton provided was the icing on the cake. He helped us to sort out the music for the ceremony as we are a bit hopeless at that kind of stuff. The music on the afternoon and evening itself was amazing. We were mostly a group of 80s teenagers and boy did we relive our youths. We danced long and hard and sang our hearts out. The only complaint we had the next day from our guests was that they had dreadful blisters and their feet were aching so much they could hardly stand. Testament enough I think.

DJ Karlton made the night

Karlton was fantastic at our wedding! We had some slightly niche music we wanted and he took the time to research and find tracks that suited perfectly. He was communicative and super supportive in the run up to the day which was a huge help as we were organisiour wedding remotely. On the night, Karlton stepped up and helped everything to run smoothly. He even announced a speech for us when our MC fell through. His equipment looked and sounded great too. Highly recommend - can't fault him!

Best DJ I know!

Karlton is without doubt the best DJ I know for any occasion! We didn’t hesitate to book him for our wedding party. He is and was able to keep everyone dancing for several hours varying the music types throughout depending on who was dancing! He is a really nice guy who accommodated all the favourites requested by lots of people throughout the night!! 5stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect wedding DJ

We booked Karlton for our wedding because he doesn't just do weddings, he has DJ'd top london nightclubs, student nights, charity events, private parties and weddings. This gives him a unique ability to read the crowd and play the right music at the right time to really get the room going. He's also very particular about the sound systems he uses, always updating his speakers and amps to ensure any venue he plays at is never underpowered and fills the room with a quality clear sound, not tinny rubbish you can get from some mobile DJ's with old speakers. This approach also appplies to his lighting set up. Highly recommended.

Fantastic DJ service

We found Karlton for our wedding after another DJ let us down at short notice. He was extremely helpful and responsive, was happy to discuss playlists for the event, arrived at the agreed time on the day of the event and did a fantastic job. His equipment is top quality and many of our guests commented on how good the DJ was. Would highly recommend!

What a breath of fresh air to find someone who honours a booking, listens to your needs, offers a range of equipment to suit the size and type of audience, sets up in a timely, orderly unobtrusive fashion, plays the most amazing mix of music that keeps the dance floor chock full for the whole night. Thank-you Karlton so much. The DJ can make or break an event and you totally made ours!

Having a small dance floor creates a better atmosphere, people feel more comfortable and the party feels so much more lively. If you have 150 guests and allow for one third to be on the dance floor as an example. This equates to 7 people by 7 people is 49 so visualise a square 7 by 7. You do not need as much space as you think.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After receiving a first contact I call up the couple for a chat, send follow up information by email and arrange another chat either via video call or voice call. Bookings are contracted and firmed up when the deposit is received.

What makes a romantic first dance?

It doesn't matter whether it's fast or slow it just needs to light up the couple emotionally.
