Doxford Hall in Northumberland
Red Coat at Butlins.
Low prices and range of products. Providing everything that people want and leaving them with enough money to buy a drink in the most expensive Bar.
Don't plan in too much detail. Have an outline planned and allow the event to take its course from there.
Nice and simple: bride dancing with her father and the father then walks with the bride to the Groom and hands her to him. I then introduce the bride and groom to the dance floor for their First dance. Nice and simple. I have also seen community halls used and outside in the gardens a wigwam is placed for people to gather around a camp fire till the early hours of the morning.
They Phone me and tell me exactly what they wan't including the first dance. I send a letter outlining exactly what has been ordered. If a couple have a song list I encourage them to bring it on a memory stick so that I will have all the music in open place on my computer.
To have all guests standing in a semi circle around the couple. The couple are introduced as Mr and Mrs Smith and walk into the middle of the floor and the music starts. I have already informed guests that they will need their cameras. The Wedding party can then be introduced to the dance floor either separately or all together as more photos are taken. Then the rest of the guests are encouraged to join the dance floor.
