Marvellous Disco - providing a high quality and professional wedding disco service. My music is extremely varied, and I can cater for any age or music type from the 50's to modern chart, from rock & roll to R&B, from dubstep to Punjabi. I am a professional "mixing" DJ, which means as well as choosing the best music that will meet your guests tastes, I am able to mix the songs together for seamless transitions between each track played, rather than a stop/start performance. When you book your event with Marvellous Disco, you are given your own secure section of the website where you can keep track of your event, submit any music requests that you may have and give me more information about your event (i.e. times for cake cutting, speeches etc.). Really liked that we could choose songs beforehand (and to let you know the songs not to play!) my wife loved the music and was barely off the dance floor! Thank you for our accommodating our last minute first dance song and removing the swear word! Thank you very much for making our wedding reception so much fun. Loads of good songs, and people dancing all night

I loved the online requests. It means we gave all our guests a request on their RSVP which they loved. The night was just amazing. I know we made it difficult for you when Mark booked a surprise singer, but you managed the time and the requests really well. Loads of good songs, and people dancing all night. Thank you so much. We had a ball. We would recommend you any time. Everyone danced and had a great time. The lighting was just what we wanted and suited the pavilion perfectly.

I DJ'd for a Gypsy wedding (that was part of the Channel 4 TV show). That was a very interesting experience!

Have a good think about the sort of music you would like, but remember, you also have to make sure your guests have a great night too.

I add a little personal touch in the form of a lightbox, that says the surname of the bride and groom

If we are unable to arrange a meeting in advance, I like to discuss things in detail either over the phone or via email. I am contactable at all times and typically reply straight away with any queries that may be had

What makes a romantic first dance?

A great song!

What is your number one floor-filler?

It depends on the age group and vibe in the room. Personally, I love 'Shut up and Dance' by Walk the Moon
