Sharply suited and booted, Robert Benson captivates audiences with heartfelt performances on saxophone. His sweet, yet soulful tone has become a signature sound setting him apart from other saxophonists, always tasteful and never overly indulgent. Acoustic covers of modern pop artists such as Bruno Mars, The Beatles, Amy Winehouse, Adele, etc. are reworked into unique instrumental arrangements to deliver something fresh, yet familiar. Available as a solo act accompanied with bespoke backing tracks played through a small PA speaker, or as a duo with an acoustic guitarist. Lounge-jazz set also available upon request. Song requests can often be accommodated. PLI and PAT certified. Noise-limiter friendly (below 85db)! Please watch the showreel below.

Excellent evening. Robert arrived early with plenty of time to set up and sound check. Ensured sound levels were exactly what we wanted. Brilliant music enjoyed by all - we have had lots of positive comments. Would recommend without any reservations and if needed would definitely use Robert again. You set the tone for a truly magical day!

Robert played at our wedding in September and was absolutely fantastic. Our wedding reception was held in a Tipi tent with a Festival theme and Robert played for a couple of hours as guests arrived and before dinner. Would absolutely recommend for any occasion.
