Hi Matt, Thank you very much for helping our music to run so smoothly. Our preference sheet was a clear guide as I remember hearing a load of songs we had picked out together throughout the day. You were a consummate professional at all times and your setup was low key and perfect. You blended requests with our favourites and even managed to play some ‘Jungle Book' for the kids which I loved hearing and seeing you give me a nod to your kid audience ;) You were always on hand and were always happy to answer any questions. We loved your setup and use of decorations to help blend in to our wedding. It didn't go un noticed. And the general setup was not too corny or cheesy it was just right! Matt is a consummate professional. From initial consultations to our big day, Matt was on hand to answer questions and explain exactly how things run. Matt had in-depth knowledge of our wedding venue having played there several times and this gave us the confidence to know exactly what he was doing. He ran the music from the preference sheet he gave us and which we filled out extensively. He filled the gaps perfectly and played requests for everyone- even little kids who were eager to hear a bit of 'Jungle Book' before the party started. We booked Matt for all day- providing music for the ceremony and main party and his setup was low key and professional. In the evening he cranked up the setup to suit the party atmosphere and utilised wedding decorations we had around the venue to blend in better. We would highly recommend Matt as a wedding DJ and can confirm he plays music you want to hear, music your guests want to hear and had a low key, non-cheesy setup which is exactly what we wanted for our wedding. He can provide loads of other extras and is always willing to provide suggestions, but is not one to ram it down your throat. If you can get to a Wedding Fair to meet him, do it- it will confirm your decision to book him as he will talk to you and help you to make a relaxed informed decision. Sorry it's taken a while to get in touch with you, but we just wanted to say a massive thank you for your efforts at our wedding. Matt is an absolute pleasure to work with. His knowledge of music is fantastic, and every wedding we have worked together has always been a buzz of activity on the dance floor. His setup is very professional with a speaker system which is crisp and rich with sound, and he doesn't use lazers which are a nightmare as a photographer. Would whole heartedly give Matt a 5 star rating and always enjoy seeing him on the couples suppliers list.
