Not being local to Cornwall, we found Alexa on social media and as soon as we saw her work we knew that was exactly how we wanted our day captured. We married at The Green in May. Alexa knew the venue and the spots to capture lovely natural photos of us as well as natural shots of our guests. We met prior to the wedding so we could discuss any particulars we wanted. Couldn’t recommend Alexa enough to anyone. Alexa was so welcome and friendly and blended in with our guests. The final photos are perfect and memories we can keep forever!

We couldn't recommend Alexa enough! Alexa's work can clearly speak for itself as she is able to capture such intimate moments so beautifully. We honestly still keep looking at the pictures Alexa took of our special day and can't help but smile and see more detail each time we do, On the day Alexa was amazing. She made us feel so at ease, took the time get to know us and what we liked and made everything feel so natural and easy. For us not being people who like our photo's being taken, Alexa did such a wonderful job. Alexa was amazing with our guests. All of them have commented on how she effortlessly fit into the wedding and was brilliant at making everyone feel welcome, comfortable and at ease with her being there. Alexa photographed our wedding in August at Lusty Glaze beach. We chose Alexa as we're not massive fans of 'posed' photographs and loved Alexa's style and wanted someone that knew the venue. We met her before our wedding to discuss things and knew as soon as we met her she would be great to work with. We only had a couple of shots we really wanted so the rest we left up to her and she did an amazing job of capturing our day perfectly. It was lovely to see things when we received our beautifully presented pictures that we had not even noticed on the day which was lovely. Half of the time we didn't notice she was there as she works very discretely. She goes the extra mile to get her shots, climbing on walls, lying on the wet sand ect but the end results are amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend Alexa to anyone wanting amazing results.

Alexa is fantastic. From the first meeting I knew that Alexa was the right choice for our wedding photographer. Alexa really listens to what you want and then delivers. Our photos are great. Natural shots of family and friends all taken without the fuss of some wedding photographers. I would 100% recommend Alexa.

Alexa captured our day perfectly. From start to finish she was fantastic, she was professional and quick to respond to my many questions. The day ran smoothly thanks to Alexa’s professionalism and great work ethic. You can see how incredibly passionate Alexa is about her work and always wanting to get the right shot, on a few occasions she laid on the floor and leant through windows to get the perfect shot. For us, getting the right photographer was one of the most important aspects of the wedding. The day goes by so quickly and the photos mean you can relive the day over and over and something we can share with our nearest and dearest. I thought it was a lovely touch for Alexa to share sneak peeks on social media and the preview was a lovely surprise and our photos are beautiful and we waited only a few weeks for all of them. One thing that drew me to Alexa was how she caught things in the moment and didn’t stage or pose anything other than a few of our couples portrait, but even then she asked us to just be natural with each other, have a kiss, look at each etc, she made us both feel very at ease. You wouldn’t know she was there most of time, she blended in well and I cannot sing her praises enough. Thank you a million times and for anyone looking for a photographer, Alexa Poppe is your girl. I have added one of my favourite photos of the day, me and my beautiful daughter, a moment I will remember forever.

We booked Alexa for our elopement wedding in May. We changed our mind a couple of times when it came to photos, as no-one was going to be there we wanted to make sure we got it right so we could share them with everyone making them feel part of the day. We found Alexa online and after looking through reviews and her photos I knew she’d be the perfect choice. We loved the style and artistic shots, on the day we had wind and rain and small glimpses of sunshine and Alexa managed to somehow get some great shots. We’re not from the area but Alexa took us to a beach nearby to get some photos are the ceremony and I’m glad we did, she turned a gloomy looking day into really cool and unique photos that we love. We had the album just 2 weeks later and everyone loved the photos! Would definitely recommend, she made us feel so comfortable and even natural in front of the camera.
