Alma Wedding photography

I’m Hannah, thank you for popping in. I make photographs that tell stories. This is sometimes called documentary photography or narrative photography or natural photography. I may be telling a story about you and your wedding day. In my stories I capture the little glances you shared, how gorgeous you looked, the joy of your guests. When I studied photography at college, I was into telling stories about everyday people and their lives. This still interests me and when I’m not photographing weddings or families, I photograph people in my community. Later I went on to work in news. I was an editor at a news wire and this helped me hone the skill of how a photo works, what it communicates, what story it tells. I love it when a client says: “The photos exceeded what we’d hoped for. We’re so pleased you were part of our day” I have frizzy hair, small children and a husband – the first two require daily taming.
