There are a few - my first wedding was in Paris, France. I also remember fondly the first wedding I charged at full price and felt free to use my creativity - the result was a very happy couple who called my photography "simply magic." Finally, I went over to Northern Ireland to photograph my own wedding photographer's wedding, 5 years after she shot mine. What a privilege.
My couples are always so delighted with their photographs. Many of them have become friends as a result of them booking me and I know they really love their pictures - some thank me almost every time I see them!!
The bride and groom each kissed their mothers as they reached the end of the aisle - they were their "last kiss" before their "first kiss" as a married couple.
The bride's parents kissing, next to the couple kissing, next to the groom's parents kissing. Another one I loved was the bride and her father outside their house, as they had the same picture of the bride's mother and her father on her wedding day some 25 years earlier.
Embrace it - you only get one wedding day. Buy some big umbrellas, some wellies and enjoy it. As an aside, rain can make for some very atmospheric photos.
