Hello, and thank you for stopping by to look at my work. I am a documentary style Lancashire wedding photographer based in Preston, covering weddings throughout the North West and further afield. If you want a chilled photographer to capture all the fun and laughter on your special day, look no further! My approach to wedding photography is very simple. I take unposed natural photographs of you and your partner celebrating your big day with your family and friends! I interfere as little as possible. There will be no awkward posing, and I won’t be asking you to pretend to do anything. Great wedding photography is all about capturing the real moments as you celebrate with your family and friends, and I allow them to happen in a natural way. My aim is to be as unobtrusive as possible so that you feel like I am not even there, which leaves you to get on with enjoying the party! I do shoot the details, portraits, and formal groups, but when you look through my albums you will see that my main focus is on photographing the real emotions on display as you and your partner celebrate with your family and friends, so laughter and tears of joy are my favourite things to capture. I am often told that I have a chilled out personality which makes people feel at ease, and perhaps this is why I am drawn towards photo’s which show people really enjoying themselves. My philosophy is that a photograph of a genuine moment means far more than something set up, and it is why even during the getting ready part of the day I won’t be asking you to pretend and pose. My aim is always to take timeless images which will make you and your partner smile in the future as you look back at all the amazing moments from your special day. I am a positive person, and nothing makes me happier than taking interesting and quirky photographs which beautifully capture a moment in time.
