My wife would slap me if I said it wasn't my own. It may be a few years ago now, 1984, but I remember it like it was yesterday. We had a fabulous day before heading to the Lake District for our honeymoon later in the day (that's what you did in those days).

Sounds daft and obvious but an umbrella. If at all possible allow the photographer to shoot outdoors. As long as the bride is dry we can work round everyone else.
Can't remember how or why but I bought my first SLR camera in 1979 at 18 years old (probably because I wanted some good photographs of my girlfriend!!). However I found out sometime later that my grandad, who died before I was born, was also into photography.
