We organised our wedding within a week as my father was very ill in hospital with terminal cancer. Ioan kindly agreed to capture the bittersweet day and did so beautifully and with great empathy. Ioan came to our house, the registry office, the hospital chapel and to my father's hospital ward. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was incredibly sensitive given the situation. The photos and slide show are incredible and will be treasured by our whole family forever. I can't thank Ioan enough for capturing these beautiful memories.

We are so happy with our wedding photos. Were glad we chose Celynnen for our wedding. Ioan and his assistant were fab on the day and made us laugh a lot. Ioan did a great job getting all the group shots quickly and easily. He is also a discreet photographer, during the ceremony I hardly knew he was there, all the while capturing the most amazing pictures, and capturing every emotion. Celynnen know Portmeirion very well and took us pretty much around the whole village for our couple portraits, which we loved.

We got married 5 years ago and on our recent anniversary pulled out our wedding album, looking through it gives us goosebumps everytime (and happy tears) from such a wonderful day. Every time we go through our album we can't help but congratulate each other on making, what we both feel, is the best decision of our wedding. THE PICTURES ARE JUST SO DAMN AMAZING!!! For us we felt that the only thing you really get to keep as a record of your whole wedding day are your pictures and for this reason we weren't going to compromise on quality. In the last 5 years of looking at our album we know we definitely made the right decision with choosing Celynnen. Ioan is incredible, his pictures are a work of art and his level of professionalism is unrivalled. Ioan is able to direct you perfectly to get the beat shots and his experience shines through, he is a natural with people and the camera. Ioan and all at Celynnen Photography were extremely professional and made everyone feel totally relaxed. We have been fortunate to know Ioan since he photographed my brothers wedding some years ago and greatly admire his work. Ioan was absolutely fantastic. Exactly what we wanted in a wedding photographer. He didn’t just capture the memories of the day but became part of some wonderful memories of the day too! We got married August 2018, found Ioan at our Venues open day and that was it, we new we had to have him! He made us feel so comfortable and at ease. From our engagement shoot him traveling down to us to the wedding day, he was fab! Very professional but making us so relaxed at the same time. We got married in June 2016 and after finding Celynnens webpage and seeing the previous photos they had taken we were really impressed and after one meeting with Ioan we were sold. He’s professionalism and talent combined with a great personality and sense of humour was exactly what we needed for our special day. We got a free pre wedding photo shoot where we got to know each other better and also got a sneak peek of how fantastic the photos was gonna be. What amazed me most with their work on our wedding day was the fact that they blended in so well and captured the most amazing moments throughout the day without us even knowing the photos were taken. The waiting time to get the photos after the wedding was very short and they were very nice presented on an own personal usb stick and the wedding album was just fabulous! The quality of the pictures was amazing and we got a lot of photos to choose between! I couldn’t fault Ioan and Nicola on anything and I would highly recommend Celynnen Photography to anyone!

Both my husband and I found the initial process a little awkward as we both find formal photographs uncomfortable. However, on the day we were put at ease and as requested most photos taken were of us “in the moment” looking natural throughout the day.
