All of the weddings I am lucky enough to attend are memorable in their own ways. Whether that be down to the little quirks and details that the couples have included or unique venues that I am photographing for the first time or fun friends and family making the day special. Every wedding is unique and amazing in its own way.
Fun, natural, creative, relaxed and quirky.
Ive had the pleasure of photographing many weddings and nothing fills me with a bigger sense of pride than when I hand over another completed wedding to a happy couple. Seeing their reaction to their photos and watching them enjoy sharing those captured memories with their family and friends always makes me feel not only proud but also very, very lucky to be doing what I do.
ENJOY IT!!!!!!!!
Far too many to mention so heres a few. Lindor favours, personalised beer bottles, light up letters, hay bale seats with tartan blankets, lawn games, family made cakes, a tree trunk cake stand (groom was a tree surgeon), complimentary ray bans for every guest, monopoly dog table decs and an ABBA themed quiz all were awesome.
Meet up! Make our plans!! Have fun!!!
Not being one for 'tradition' I would have to say simply, smiles. Lots and lots of smiles. Being a documentary wedding photographer I firmly believe that your wedding photos should tell the natural and flowing story of your wedding day and nothing tells that story better than lots of photos of you and your guests enjoying the event.
Whatever you feel comfortable with. I would definitely not push to go for a walk in the rain but if your game then so am I. If thats not for you then thats when its important to choose a photographer with bundles of creativity, ideas and technical ability. You don't need to go outside to capture some great photos.
I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. I studied Photography at college back when we were still shooting on film (trust me, that makes a 33 year old feel ancient haha). But, I feel having that experience makes me a more creative photographer.
