What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding this year has to be when I was crouching to get a photo of the bride and groom outside and hearing this tear sound, my trousers had split behind. Was slightly embarrassing but it was also funny and we got some great fun shots just from that moment of personal disaster. I always carry a spare pair!

What about your business are you most proud of?
I started my Wedding Photography business back in 2011 and I have watched it grow considerably in the last 4 years. My own personal goals are to be better all the time, to be different and want to stand out. I am moving towards my personal goals at a great rate of speed, why not be part of the journey with me.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Research your suppliers fully. Ask for details of previous clients to get feedback. Don't take unnecessary risks.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Handmade flowers made out of coloured paper at a wedding in July 15. Stunning work that had taken some considerable time to do and all made by hand by the bride.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
First contact is usually by email or telephone, a friendly chat and basic questions answered such as am I free on the date and so on. Then I arrange for a meeting, either at the venue, my home or a local coffee shop and we discuss the day in more detail. If the client wishes to book I organise the wedding contract to be sent out electronically and take a booking fee. I also arrange the pre wedding photo shoot with the clients to get an idea of how they are likely to work with me and what I may need to do to make them feel more at ease. I stay in regular contact all the way up to and after the wedding. I am always available for any questions.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Bride and Groom with Parents. After the day has ended, family has gone home and you then only have the images captured by your photographer. These are the priceless heirlooms to be added into the wedding album.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Wedding Rings hung on Bluebells as the bride loves bluebells.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Rain doesn't stop my work and I am always prepared with umbrellas. Rain can and does add to the fun and beauty of the images if used correctly. I recommend having a pair of comfortable shoes for the bride to wear outside.
Describe how you got into photography.
I have always loved photography but I never took the opportunity to do it for a living until we moved back from Scotland to Lancashire in 2010. I decided to purchase a DSLR Camera and register on a course and I found myself shooting a wedding for friends and I was then asked to do more. Now, it is just a passion as much as a job.
