My style of photography is very relaxed. If I had to put a name to it I would say creative documentary; as I like to step back and document the day as it happens, as unobtrusively as possible. I will, however, step forward and take charge if needed to make sure I get the best photographs of your wedding day. I will be honest, open and clear in all my communications with you and will make you feel comfortable and relaxed having me spend your special day with you. What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Each of the groomsmen having different Lego Star Wars characters instead of pinhole flowers

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I like to meet with couples as we can get to know each other better as it is important we get along and like each other. I will be with you for a long time on your wedding day.

What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?

There is not one photo for every couple as each person is different. If I had to say something, I'd say its a photo they would want printed big above their fireplace/settee!

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

Only been asked for it once but one groom wanted a photo of the couple with a power station behind them! Think he wanted to challenge me to make it look good! It looked great!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Relax and enjoy it! You can't change the weather so embrace it! Rain can make awesome photos!

Describe how you got into photography.

My dad has always been taking photos from before I was born. When I was 14, my parents gave me a small APS camera and its developed (see what I did there?! :) ) from there
