A remembrance medallion with the image of a loved one, attached to the wedding bouquet.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
First contact and enquiry is usually via e-mail, I like to follow up with an informative e-mail and a phone call after which I generally sit down with my potential clients for an informal chat about their wedding day and their wishes & expectations regarding their wedding photography. Further regular contact follows in the run up towards the wedding day and generally also after.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Although not characteristic of the documentary style approach, a few formals with your loved ones should always be taken.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Bride going to the toilet.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Let it pour, we will always find some amazing opportunities and back-drops to create some unique portraits :-).
Describe how you got into photography.
It all started with underwater photography, documenting not only the marvels of the underwater world but also the happy holiday makers on their scuba diving excursions.
