What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always meet and discuss your wedding with the person who will deliver the service you're after and always check information about them online - reviews etc. Also, try to view at least two full weddings if they are photographers / videographers for consistency and quality.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
To get the wedding party to be themselves and relax
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I always try to get couples relaxed so they do what they do and I encourage them to be natural and not look for me during ceremonies or when they're dancing.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
exposing their personality at moments of heightened emotions.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Using a drone (which I don't own) to get an arial photograph of a couple laying in a field of corn.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
An umbrella
Describe how you got into photography.
My own wedding photography was a disaster - no communication, poor image quality and lack of understanding or flexibility so photographs were very standard looking (horrible poses - static - boring)
