My most memorable wedding was in a gorgeous country barn in Newcastle. The couple were so laid back, everything was handmade, there was a big bbq and a live band all night. I loved it.
Honesst, relaxed, creative, artistic and elegant.
Genuinely caring for the couples I photograph.
Don’t go for things because everyone else does. Have a day that suits you and remember to take it all in.
A bride looked through all her old family pictures and found one of every guest, made a copy and popped them in a little frame each and used them as place settings.
My couples usually confirm their booking over email and I send them all the information they wish. I then arrange a meeting with them closer to their wedding so most details and final schedules have been confirmed. We get to know each other a little bit and make sure everything is in place.
One where you’re hysterically laughing. Always my favourite.
My Dad bought me a camera when I was about 15. I studied art at the time and he thought I’d be good at it. I took it to a friends wedding and just snapped away after the service. I enjoyed it so much I decided to try it again at another wedding. It was then I thought to change from art to photography.
