“We are so glad we picked Julia to capture our wedding day. It felt like she was an extra guest on the day and the way she organised everyone was fantastic. We only had a short time for our group photos and we goth through them all in record time. Julia sent us a sneak preview of our photos the day after the wedding and she came to see us as soon as we were back from our honeymoon to show us all the photos which were amazing!!. Before our wedding Julia took time to meet us and to see our venue, so we could walk around together, pick out our favorite spots and planed the day so we weren't worried on the day. It was such a pleasure to have Julia photograph our special day, she is the type of person who instantly makes you feel as though you have known her for years, so friendly and welcoming. We were introduced through a family member and met for a consultation which really helped us grasp who Julia was and how she works. She had many example albums, one of which was at our venue and we remember thinking how beautiful those pictures were and that we would love for ours to be just like that. She not only put us both at ease on the day but many others too and this really shows in our photos. We are over the moon with how our pictures turned out, they are better than we ever imagined and tell the story of our day. Julia definitely exceeded our expectations and without taking up much of our time she set up some beautiful shots for us using the grounds of the venue and we were very impressed with her impromptu idea to use our mason jars for a beautiful night shot. “Our photographer, Julia was a big part of our day. When Tom and I were searching for a photographer we felt it was important to have someone who is down to earth like us. We met Julia at Hatfield House Wedding fare on 29th October 2017. We both felt we had an instant connection with Julia. She is so personable and very genuine. Despite initially being a little out of our price range, it was an easy decision and we decided her photography would be worth it. We can honestly say it was! Julia is very professional and was prompt with communication throughout the process. We looked forward to meeting up with her every time , she is so friendly and she really knows her stuff, she put us at ease answering any questions we had. All through the build up to the wedding she was full of good advice and attentive to our ideas. “We met Julia at a wedding show that was being held at Hatfield House, as soon as we met Julia we know she was who we wanted to take the photographs at our wedding. Her unique understanding and experience at our wedding venue made us feel at such ease, it was the best decision we made!. On the day Julia was amazing, she made everyone feel so comfortable and with approximately 40 different family group photographs to take in such a short amount of time, like the super hero she is, Julia got through them all effortlessly. Since our wedding all our family and friends have come to us and said how wonderful they found Julia, she is very relaxed, organised and will capture the most beautiful photographs, you will not be disappointed. “My mum and I stopped to look at Julia's stand at a wedding fair at Hatfield House because of her beautiful evening shots and immediately felt at ease chatting to her. I took a card and after talking to a few other photographers at subsequent wedding fairs knew I wanted Julia! I met up with her about 11 months before the wedding and discussed photography styles and the various package options. At no time did I feel any hard sale which was really nice. We then met again at the wedding venue a little over a month before the big day where we ran through the order of the day and Julia was able to familiarize herself with the venue. On the day Julia arrived shortly after the hair and makeup artists and stayed until late into the evening, so we could get the beautiful night shots I desired. This also meant we have photos of our cake cutting, first dance and evening guests. I have to say, with the exception of the group photos where Julia did a brilliant job of organising everyone, I hardly knew she was there! And the resultant photos are testimony to that as they all look so lovely and natural. Some months prior to the wedding Julia had requested a list of the group photos we specifically wanted so on the day Keith and I were able to completely relax knowing the photos we really wanted would be captured. We met up with Julia two weeks after our wedding and she was happy for me to bring my parents along too. We looked through the many, many photos and selected the ones we wanted in our album … which was most of them! Julia has already sent through a digital first draft of our wedding album which we are able to review and amend as many times as we wish. There are lots of album options which is great, and perhaps the most important thing is that we are thrilled with our wedding photos. We could not recommend Julia enough and many of our guests have subsequently commented that they were very impressed with our organised, funny (in the good sense) and efficient photographer!”

We met Julia at a wedding fair at Hatfield House. From the moment we met her she put us at ease with her friendly, relaxed yet professional manner. We have had so many comments from our guest saying how she ensured everything ran smoothly and how lovely she was. Julia blended in seamlessly resulting in beautiful, natural photos. She picked up on our personalities and ensured the photos reflected this. The day just goes by so quickly and it was the little things that Julia did to help us enjoy every aspect of the day that stood out. Good advise of things we hadn't even thought of, taking pictures throughout the day bit by bit which ensured we were able to spend time with our guests and taking us away for time together so we could reflect of the day - simple things which really made a difference. We will treasure the images and Thank you Julia, we couldn't have wished for a better photographer. The only trouble is they are all so good we could't possibly select a favourite.
