Every wedding is memorable....for entirely different reasons. I couldn't pick one out of the 100+ i've photographed!
Honest, Fun, Elegant, Memorable, Real
That I have built up my business myself, developed everything from the heart and loved every second.
Make a list of everything you 'need' for your wedding, then go down the list a prioritise where to spend your money. Weddings are so expensive and theres a lot to book/ organise. Make sure you spend your money on whats important to you.
Its always the speeches that make me emotional, theres no greater, more personal thing than lovely words said to one another.
Getting to know my clients! To me, this is so important. Getting to know their personalities, how they met, this really help with capturing their wedding in the most real way!
Couple photos, these are the ones you will print and put up in your home. This part of every wedding is my absolute favourite. Taking the couple away from their guests for 15 mins to get some really lovely, romantic, fun shots.
I don't tend to get asked to take specific shots. I love confetti shots, as this is always so different for every wedding, and it always a lovely surprise to see how each wedding turns out.
Planning prior to the day!!! I suggest to every couple to invest in some white umbrellas in the event it does rain. We make a wet weather plan prior to the day so everything runs smoother in the event it is wet! Some of my favourite photos are take in the rain - so its not a bad thing, you just need to be prepared, I mean, we do live in England don't we!
I have a creative back ground, and used photography as my main medium throughout university. I went to a friends wedding after finishing my masters and had an epiphany that it was what I wanted to do. So I started to build a portfolio, it snowballed from there.
