I have worked with Gavin both on weddings and inspirational bridal shoots. His work is exceptionally creative and his attention to detail is outstanding. I always recommend him to my brides.

I cannot recommend Gavin highly enough. From our first meeting he made us feel comfortable and confident. His preparation and attention to detail is second to none. On the actual wedding day he helped keep proceedings calm and organised and captured moments that we will treasure forever. Our guests have commented on his professionalism, friendliness and expertise. He made us feel so calm and relaxed it was just like having another friend at the wedding. I recommend Gavins services from the exciting morning preparations through in to the evening to create a story of the whole day. On returning from honeymoon we were overjoyed to view out App which contained some of the highlights from the day and even better I still have it on my phone now to show friends. From that point Gavin worked extremely closely with us to compile and create our albums. We all wanted to get everything perfect and again his attention to detail and patience was exemplary. We now have an amazing wedding album which will treasure forever and is the perfect memory of our special day. Thank you Gavin for making the whole experience so enjoyable.

We are really blessed to have Gavin come down to do our wedding shoot. Some of the pictures he did for us were surreal. He has an amazing ability to turn an ordinary environment into a magical scene. Its not just me, there are a whole load of awards to prove that. Besides being a great artist, Gavin is very good with people. Everyone at the wedding really liked him. My side of the family are from India who were visiting UK for the first time. Gavin had this knack of setting people at ease and I think that made a big difference is getting the right pictures without people looking as if they were trying to hold a pose or an expression. In our wedding he not only did the photoshoot, he also herded people from one end of the location to another to get the perfect shots for everyone. That was way more than what he signed up for but he did it with a big smile on his face. Its been over a couple years since he did our wedding shoot and we remember him every time we see our wedding pictures. He is an amazing guy and we are very grateful for all that he has done to make our wedding day special. I would definitely recommend having him around on your perfect day.

What can I say... myself and my husband hired Gavin for our wedding blessing and we can hand on heart say that we made the best decision. Gavin was professional and friendly and nothing was too much to ask even when it came to getting a shot of 6 under 2 year old children! We have, thanks to Gavin, some truly amazing pictures of our blessing and will never be able to say thank you enough. If you are looking for a professional, fun photographer then Gavin is your man.

After reviewing many photographers online we decided to meet with Gavin Conlan to be our wedding photographer. What drew us to Gavin was his style and how he managed to capture the light in his photos whilst making the poses look natural. There were a number of beautiful photos on his website and we decided to meet him. We live in America and we were getting married in England. After some communication we met up. Gavin’s personality and enthusiasm hit us straight away and we knew he was the guy for us. We chatted for over an hour and told him how important the photography was for us. We ranked the photography and the music as the two most important things for us on the day. After explaining what we wanted Gavin gave us his expert opinion and we had a rough plan of how we wanted the day to go. We paid our deposit there and then. We were that impressed with him. In the coming months, we stayed in contact and a few weeks before Gavin set out a fall schedule for the day. We were very impressed with how willing he was and how available he was. He got to us on the day around 9:30 AM and left just after 10 PM. He worked very hard and never lost any enthusiasm or professionalism throughout. We had a number of requests to get photos at different locations at the venue and because of another wedding that day this had to be split up throughout the day. Gavin did a good job of managing that and liaising with the venue. He was also very thoughtful when requesting to take us away for these photos as to not disrupt the celebration (after all this was our request to get these photos). Gavin was full of energy and made the experience that can sometimes feel awkward (posing) an enjoyable and fun experience. He had us laughing and joking with him. He would throw himself on the ground and lay down to get the right shot. On one occasion, he jumped in to a bush to get the shot which made us laugh. He is very personable and sets you at ease. Having said all that, I cannot stress how serious he takes his job and how great his photos came out. He got the shots we wanted and they look amazing. My wife and I would certainly recommend Gavin to anyone as a photographer for a wedding or any other occasion. He is professional, hard working, personable, talented, and funny. He has to have a sense of humor to support Liverpool. Thanks for everything Gavin.

Choosing Gavin to be our wedding photographer was a great choice! Right from the start he made an effort to get to know us and build a connection and understand what sort of pictures we wanted on the day. Throughout the wedding day he worked so hard and was very easy to work with. He made us feel as comfortable as possible and didn't push us if we wanted a rest or a mingle with guests. All our guests had nothing but positive things to say about Gavin and were very impressed. The pictures were all we hoped for and we had a struggle to narrow them down for our wedding album, as there were so many good ones to choose from. The final albums were great and something we look forward to having as a great memento. 

We would totally recommend Gavin to everyone!!! After making contact with Gavin, he took the time to meet with us and even visit our venue prior to the big day to get an essence of what we would want. He asked our opinions on the different types of shots and even asked if we had any of our own ideas for shots – fun / natural etc. On the big day Gavin was there from the very beginning capturing the bridal party getting ready then ensuring he spent as much time with the groom separately before the main events. He was there until the very end, making sure all of the magical moments were captured. It felt like Gavin was our guest, rather than the hired photographer. He was so friendly, un-intrusive, fun and professional.  All of our family and friends commented how much they loved him and how great they thought he was – and that was before they had even seen the photographs! The very next day Gavin had written a blog about our fantastic day and posted over 100 photographs – we couldn’t believe how stunning the images were and how hard he had worked – and that was just a snapshot of the day. Gavin produced the ultimate slideshow of our day on DVD with songs from the day, along with the most beautiful album. He took so many amazing photographs that we found it so difficult to decide which ones to include in the album!! To this day, all of our family still comment on how great Gavin was and the wonderful photos he took. The photographs were so beautiful that a Bridal Magazine actually contacted us via Gavin to ask permission to write an article about our day and use some of the photographs for their next issue – we were so proud to be asked and of course we accepted.
