What is your most memorable wedding?
Sally & Mark in Essex - a beautiful countryside wedding in which they left the church in a goat-drawn cart!

Natural, Candid, Personal, Relaxed, Beautiful
What about your business are you most proud of?
I like to research the location ahead of the wedding day so that I have a firm idea of the best locations in which to photograph the couple without holding up the festivities hunting for spots on the day!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Relax! Don't worry about all the little things being perfect on the day, if something goes wrong laugh it off and carry on! After all these things happen, and they can create some of the fondest and strongest memories from the day!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I appreciate any home made touches at weddings, something that my wife and I focused on quite heavily for our own wedding. Cake toppers are often where a little fun can be had - I've seen anything from Lego to a couple made from wooden clothes pegs!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I simply select a scenic location for a quiet interlude for the bride and groom where they can relax and chat separate from the hustle and bustle of the main party, during which I will photograph without too much overbearing instruction. This creates wonderful, natural images, and a welcome break for the couple of simply be together.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I love a good confetti shot, surrounded by friends and family with colourful petals flying everywhere. These photos are always full of laughing faces of friends and family, centered around the happy couple, to me capturing the essence of the celebration in a single image.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The groomsmen asked for a 15 minute shoot before the guests arrived at one wedding, with various photographs consoling the Groom before the impending ceremony!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
A brolly! Most locations will have an indoor location available at a push, but if you're not afraid to get the dress a little wet bring a brolly and matching wellies - in the wedding colour! - and you can still have fun outside for 15 minutes to create some really memorable images!
Describe how you got into photography.
I actually started photographing derelict spaces as a hobby, and have gradually developed and expanded my range until today where I shoot all manner of subject matter!
