“The first thing I noticed about Jason was his work. He was talking to another couple at the venue and I walked past his stand and it drew me in. I remember the picture in the rain and how he had captured that moment perfectly and I immediately wanted rain on my wedding day...just for that picture. He gave me a smile to acknowledge I was there and then came to speak to us after he'd finished. I already knew he was talented by the albums and photoreels on his stand but what a lovely guy he was too. We immediately hit it off and we're with him for at least 20 minutes, chatting and looking through his work. I still looked around and met a few more photographers but nobody compared and so we went ahead and booked him. This turned out to be one of the best wedding decisions we made. I was nervous about being photographed but we had our pre wedding shoot to ease our nerves and Jason was willing to accommodate our requests and venture into the derelict park on a wet day. How he managed to capture so many fabulous shots on that rainy day is beyond me but he did. We were so right to choose Jason, I was so very excited for the wedding and right on time, he turned up on our wedding morning to not only photograph the bridal party but to help calm my nerves, fix buttonholes and offer words of encouragement. He was brilliant and was part of the party from the moment he arrived. He was open to any ideas and we had some wonderful night time pictures with sparklers. So many people commented on how lovely he was and how amazed they were at the natural but flawless pictures he took. I am so pleased we booked him. Thanks to Jason, our memories will last perfectly forever. He will always hold a special place in our hearts for that.”
