What is your most memorable wedding?
If forced to choose one, it would have to be the wedding of Jo and Anna, who tied the knot on Lusty Glaze beach in Cornwall. After the ceremony, the two lovely brides ran straight into the sea wearing their amazing wedding dresses! Waterproof camera at the ready, I literally immersed myself fully in the waves to capture the most incredible and unique images. Truly exhilarating! (and, as a result of those images, I'm happy to be returning to Lusty Glaze twice in 2018!)

What about your business are you most proud of?
Every time I receive lovely feedback from my couples I feel pride that I've been able to give them such happy memories of this special time in their lives.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Be true to yourselves. Decide what's important to you both, and don't feel you need to follow tradition. Chose suppliers you relate to and feel confident with - especially those who'll be sharing your entire day with you!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I want my couples to feel very comfortable and confident on the day, so to help you we'll get to know each other on your fun and super relaxed pre-wedding shoot. Many couples book 18 months to 2 years in advance, and I'm there for you from the moment you book with me for questions, help or simply to share photo ideas to try on the big day. Because I choose to work with just 20 couples each year, I love to get to know each of my couples really well and really do become a part of your day. Many guests assume I was friends with the couple long prior to them getting married!
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The image that would mean the most to you.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Capturing 2 brides knee-deep in the Atlantic Sea (I was fully immersed!)
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Just embrace it and have fun with colourful umbrellas or wellies - oh, and try not to worry about your dress getting dirty, you'll only wear it once!
Describe how you got into photography.
Photography has been my passion from a young age, and a five-year relocation from Sussex to Miami with my husband and two young children in 2007 gave me the opportunity to take the plunge and turn it into a career. Ten years on, and specialising solely in weddings, I’m proud to say that many of the 20 couples I work with each year find me through personal referral.
