My most memorable wedding was in a tent in Beltingham, Northumberland. It was decorated with bunting and vintage crockery and it looked like a beautiful village fete. The ceremony was in the ancient and cosy church 200 yards away, and guests were led to the reception by the bride and groom, through a rustic doorway into a secret garden. Gardening paraphernalia was scattered about the marquee, and favours were gifts of seeds from the bride and groom's own garden. Love shone through and the day was a blooming success!
