The amazing atmosphere at a wedding can be so contagious and brings such emotion & genuine fun out of everyone involved. This is where I come in. By capturing the unexpected moments of the day, it allows the couple to see another side to their friends and family that they may have never seen before. Whether that be the heartfelt moment dad sees his daughter in her beautiful dress for the first time, or nan owning the dancefloor. To me all these moments are priceless. There is so much involved in planning a wedding and making sure everything runs smoothly. I make sure I never get in the way and of any timings & my relaxed approach to the day will put you at ease so you can just enjoy your day. As a North East wedding photographer, I get to cover weddings at some of the most beautiful countryside locations in County Durham, Yorkshire & Northumberland. What is your most memorable wedding?

I shot a beautiful wedding down in east sussex last year. It was a lovely outdoor ceremony in the summer. The couple were so relaxed and the guests were just having such a great time. It was a small, personal weddding (beer themed). I was very grateful to be a part of it.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Research and spend the money in the right places.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I'd have either a face to face meeting or a phone call meeting. We'd have a chat about the venue, the day, timings. get to know each other as well, which I think is important for the day.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A flower girl peaking around a corner looking at all the guests waiting for the bride.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Umbrellas!

Describe how you got into photography.

I have always been interested in photography and after a career change from the TV industry i decided to pursue it.
